Before we remodeled this two bedroom unit the rent was $1,100
per month. Every thing was old, except
for the appliances.
We removed the old wallpaper and repainted the walls. We replaced
the bathroom sink and counter. We replaced the carpet. Then we
rented the unit for $1,900 per month.
The rent was only $1,000 per month for this one bedroom unit.
We replaced the old fashioned, dark, kitchen cabinets with a lighter,
more up-to-date style. We also lowered the kitchen counter. We
repainted all of the walls and the ceiling. Then we removed the
carpeting and replaced it with ceramic tiles. Upon completion we
were able to rent the newly remodeled unit for $1,500 per month.
The rent for this studio was only $720 per month. The original
furniture was old and worn and bathroom tiles were cracked and
needed to be changed. The carpet was old and fading.
The unit is more spacious then most standard studios. It includes
one parking stall and a washer/dryer. In order to make the room
larger, we decided to use a white washed color base for the décor.
Then we rented the unit for $1,100 per month.
